In which areas can Hyperbaric Medicine help?
Hyperbaric Medicine employs non-invasive medical treatments that increase the volume of dissolved oxygen in the blood plasma.
The patient enters the Hyperbaric Chamber and breathes high concentrations of oxygen at a pressure higher than normal atmospheric pressure.
Hyperbaric chambers are indicated for various types of treatments, such as infections and non-healing wounds, chronic pain, injuries, radiation and chemotherapy treatments, diving accidents, respiratory intoxications, among others.
